How it works

We teach you. You keep it.

Book the block that suits the job. Every session is working time on your own business, not a course and not a webinar. You finish with the thing built, and with the knowledge to build the next one without us.

45 minutes, Teams

Toolbox talk

$380

One problem, worked through together. The place most people start.

  • Pick one thing: a tender, a hard email, a report, a document
  • We build it with you on the call, on your real work
  • You keep it and can run it again on the next job
  • Written notes after, so you are not relying on memory
90 minutes, Teams

Progress meeting

$650

Enough time to build a full workflow properly and understand why it does what it does.

  • A complete workflow, start to finish, on your own documents
  • Guardrails set: what it can send, what it cannot, who signs off
  • Time to break it and fix it, so you know how it behaves
  • Cheaper per hour than two shorter sessions
4 hours, on site

Site visit

$1,500

The one that changes how the business runs. On site, on your systems, with everyone who needs it.

  • We map where the time and the money actually go
  • Several workflows built across the areas that matter most
  • Your office staff learn it too, not just you
  • Sydney and surrounds. Further afield by arrangement

Prices are per session and exclude GST. Sessions run early morning or after hours to suit a working week, and site visits are held to set days. Tell us what you are stuck on and we will tell you which block fits, or whether it is worth doing at all.

What we cover

The work you would otherwise send out

Four areas where a builder is usually writing a cheque to somebody who does not know the business.

What it costs to send out, against learning it once
AreaSent out
Marketing and branding$15,000 to $50,000 for a custom site, then $1,500 to $3,500 a month for search
WHS and complianceConsultant fees every time the system needs updating
Tenders and estimatingYour own hours, most often at night
Development sourcingYour own hours, or the site goes to somebody who looked harder

The website and search figures are published Australian agency ranges, not quotes we were given. The point is not that agencies overcharge. It is that they have to learn your business before they can help, and they never learn it as well as you already know it.

Who it's for

Owner-operators and small building companies

This works best where the person pricing the job is also the one answering emails at 9pm. Custom home builders, renovators, pool and landscape companies, and trades with a few staff.

Most of our work is with builders and trades. The same approach works in any business that runs on paperwork, so if you are not a builder it is still worth a conversation.

If you have already tried ChatGPT and thought "this could do more if it knew my business", you are the right fit. Closing that gap is the whole job.

If you want somebody to take it all away and hand it back finished, we are not the right fit, and we will say so before you book anything.

Common questions

Straight answers

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can use email and Xero you can do this. The part that matters is that you understand your own business, and nobody can teach you that.

Is my client data safe?

We set you up on paid business accounts where your data is not used for training, and the guardrails decide what the assistant can see and send. That is covered in the session, not bolted on later.

How do I know which block to book?

Tell us what is taking your time and we will tell you which one fits, or whether it is worth doing at all. We would rather say no than sell you the wrong session.

What if I want you to just do it?

We do not work that way. You would be paying for a result that stops the day you stop paying, and you would be back where you started. The value here is that you keep it.

Do you work outside Sydney?

The Teams sessions work anywhere in Australia. Site visits are Sydney and surrounds, or further afield by arrangement.

Can my office staff join?

Yes, and they should. A site visit is the right block for that, because there is time for more than one person to learn it properly.

Not sure which one you need?

Tell us what's taking your time and we'll tell you where to start.
